We wish we had the summer off but it’s been hectic in the workshop, so much so that we feel we haven’t had a holiday at all this year. (Although let us not forget, Canada, France, Majorca….) We haven’t had time to post our “For Sale” items on the upholstery website as they have sold before we have got the chance. With the British summer weather though, I think we were relieved to be holed up in the workshop with all that rain.

The most recent item that has been sold, was a cocktail type bedroom chair with a similar stool which was actually a Howard Keith one made for the festival of Britain in the 1950s. We also have an “Encore” style chair too which is due to be re-upholstered.

This week we have been concentrating on commission work as well as many items for our space at Toads Vintage Hall and I managed to catch Cally putting the platform cloth on a really sweet Edwardian nursing chair.
