I’m not talking Next, John Lewis or Currys but all the fabric bargains that can be discovered if you spend long enough on the internet or if you get onto specific websites quick enough.

One of our current commissions is for a pair of fabulous nursing chairs and the client had picked some Vanessa Arbuthnott material last year. Due to our workload we weren’t able to recover the chairs in 2013 but when the fabric came up in the sale, it was a bargain not to be missed.

The fabric is Flora & Fauna in mushroom and raspberry and we can’t wait to start stripping back the top cover. We’re hoping it won’t take too long as the chairs are in very good condition and following the Christmas break we’ve now got lots of work on. Typical!
