The most recent item that has been sold, was a cocktail type bedroom chair with a similar stool which was actually a Howard Keith one made for the festival of Britain in the 1950s. We also have an “Encore” style chair too which is due to be re-upholstered.
This week we have been concentrating on commission work as well as many items for our space at Toads Vintage Hall and I managed to catch Cally putting the platform cloth on a really sweet Edwardian nursing chair. More pictures to follow – just browse our gallery page to see what we have been up to.

After perusing various books on patterns for different rush designs, he came across a “Maze” weave and promptly decided to try it out on a small stool.
It took 70m….yes that’s 70 metres….of continuous sea grass and anyone who has given weaving a go will appreciate how time consuming it is to complete. So much so that he had to have a lie down….in France…again….
The stool is available to buy for £45 so just contact us if you require further details.
