A beautiful pair of Bergere style wooden armchairs.
Barley twist features to the upperpart of the front of the chairs, with carved stretchers below.
Recently re-hand caned on all three sides.
The cushions have been re-built and re-upholstered in a Classic French style using a wide ticking stripe fabric.
The chairs themselves have been sprayed with Rust-oleum Chalky furniture paint in Antique White and over-sprayed with Rust-oleum’s protective Lacquer.

Gorgeous genuine antique 1900s Liberty of London Chair which has been reupholstered using some fabulous linen paisley print fabric.
This has been traditionally upholstered using horsehair and has an oak barley twist frame which has been cleaned and nourished.
There are some previous holes in the frame at the rear where some old upholstery was installed but this can be seen in the photos and does not detach from look of the chair.
The fabric is finished with a contrast light blue tassel trim which is in keeping with the Liberty look.
Original Liberty Makers Mark on the frame.
Perfect in a bedroom or in a hall.
