Antique Drop Arm Sofa

This antique drop arm Sofa, came from our client with the drop arm having undergone repairs to the mechanism. Initially, the Sofa looked as if it was a straight forward job but on ripping out, the previous upholsterer had just applied additional wadding over the original covers. The Sofa was completely full of straw and needed a frame up rebuild. The client provided their own damask patterned velvet.
